St. John's Law Asian American students honor DWSC

On April 15, the Asian American Law Students Association at St. John's Law School honored the David Wong Support Committee along with David's legal team for their dedication and work on his case!

The group (AALSA) has been following the case closely for several months and in the fall of 2004 held two screenings of the documentary video The Fight To Free David Wong (along with post-screening discussions).

They presented the award (including a nice plaque) at a beautiful dinner that they hold annually with the Black and Latino law student associations for their alumni. Other honorees at the dinner were The Honorable Ronald B. Lowe and Nelson A. Castillo.
